NINAART

Nina produces one off individual pieces - from jewellery to large garden hangings - from her Somerset workshop where she has two glass kilns and provides taster days for people wishing to learn the techniques. Works are produced using hot and cold techniques and the large works are framed rustically, using local sustainable wood. These hangings are designed to be suspended from timber frames, pergolas or tree boughs to make an impact in any garden or sculpture park.

Nina is a member of The Somerset Guild of Craft and Design, Earth Works, Arts and Health South West, and WIRE and participates in events such as Somerset Arts week, the bi-annual event and also holds regular exhibitions with other Somerset Artists.

Building on her success Nina has just launched 'Rebellion Garden Art' a collaboration between her and Ad, a Timber Frame Carpenter and chainsaw Sculpter. All Nina's Applique Glass hangings and slumped glass bottle dishes are made using recycled glass and off cuts of oak from timber frame buildings.Nina and AD's chairs which are also from recycled wood.
